Thom Lowther’s interest began very early in his parents Paint & Glass store and progressed with numerous high school design and art classes. While serving in Germany with the U.S. Army, he made numerous sketches and painted plein air with wash & ink. Following a 30-year career in architecture wherein he had the opportunity to travel extensively, Lowther now paints inspired by the cultures, architecture and arts of these destinations.
