Born in California and raised in Frederick County, Maryland, Connors’ early inspirations stemmed from his elementary art teacher, Charlie Shobe, a Vietnam veteran who sparked his passion for artistic expression. Connors went on to study at the Maryland Institute College of Art, later earning his Master of Fine Arts from the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California.
His practice has evolved across a decade of exhibitions spanning the United States, England, and Korea, with works ranging from illustration and sculpture to immersive installations. Today, in addition to his studio practice, Connors serves as an elementary art teacher, continuing the legacy of his own mentors by inspiring the imaginations of future generations.
