Frederick artist Ron Ames presents Language of Abstraction, an exhibition exploring the terrain where perception loosens its’ grip on certainty. Forms dissolve into gestures of light, shadow, color, and texture. Abstraction opens a space for contemplation. Freed from literal representation, the images ask the eyes and attention to slow down and rediscover the simple act of being in the moment.
